  • Bio: Wynona is an undergraduate student at DePaul majoring in Data Science; specifically passionate about its intersection with economics. When she is not working on coding projects or schoolwork, she acts as the VP of HerCDM and as a TA for CoderLaunch, a nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys designing jewelry for her brand, Winlight, reading, and playing golf.
  • Project Title: Predicting the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores of companies using news data.

  • Bio : Hey, I’m Eddie Cojulun. I am a Junior attending DePaul University majoring in Data Science. Some of my hobbies include playing music, driving out to different places around the city, following the latest on sports leagues, and participating in some friendly competitions in games and sports. My absolute favorite things to do are playing with my dog and learning more about the world through movies and spreadsheets. 
  • Project title: Machine Learning discovery of novel brainstem nuclei controlling orofacial behaviors.

  • Bio: Hi, I’m Adrianna Pinzariu! I’m currently a sophomore at DePaul majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Data Science. I spend a lot of my time volunteering for nonprofits that dedicate themselves towards supporting and increasing the number of women in STEM fields. Outside of school, I really enjoy weightlifting, coding, and traveling.
  • Project title: Learning latent spiculated features for lung nodule characterization.

  • Bio: Joanne is a current sophomore student at DePaul University double majoring in Data Science and Music Performance. Her research interests are focused on the logistics between the human and computer and the occurring interactions. Outside of research, Joanne works as an event planner where she coordinates both public and private events for communities and donors. She is also an active violinist with numerous accolades and honors, such as top 10 in Cooper International Competition, finalist at Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition, as well as performing at Carnegie Hall and the Headquarters of the United Nations, Lincoln Center. Her future goal is to work as a data scientist, expanding further into the entertainment field to improve the current management in using the market trend data.

  • Bio: Hey! I am Afroze Kassam studying computer science with a concentration in Software development.  I have a keen interest in the intersection of medicine and technology and find this area of study particularly fascinating. On campus, I am an active member of several organizations and hold the position of Director of Outreach for the Computer Science Society. Apart from my studies, I really enjoy photography, exploring the city, and calligraphy.
  • Project title: Blood protein analysis in patients suffering chronic fatigue.
